Whether it be a bold first impression or light neutrals that flow throughout, there is no better place to start in a home transformation than with carefully considered paint finishes and colour schemes. A home’s exterior makes an initial first impression and David loves to both highlight and draw forward a home’s architectural features or alternatively use restraint in colour to allow it to nestle back into nature. Similarly an interior colour scheme can both be isolated and dramatic, or shift and flow in and around different rooms for harmony and balance.
David also loves to use wallpaper to create a depth and life beyond what paint can achieve. He particularly loves to use it in Entry, Powder Rooms and Studies or other rooms where artwork or other soft furnishings are minimal and would otherwise provide impact. It’s one thing to come up with great colours but it’s another thing to see them applied brilliantly.
David has worked with both his primary painter and expert wallpaper hanger for over 15 years and they are reliable and equally dedicated to seeing a perfect end result.
