David initially decorated a few rooms in my Federation house several years ago and the results were quite spectacular. Elegant rooms ensured with beautifully integrated textiles, subtle tonal paint colours and stunning rugs and mirrors all combined to bring out the many architectural features of the house. This year when we added an upstairs extension we again called on David's services to ensure the house was integrated. Again we have been very impressed with the results. Recently, we asked David to help with our modern Sydney apartment, which was a study in green: carpets, tiles, walls, woodwork (even the kitchen cupboards) ending in a large yellow, covered balcony which overlooked the harbour. Through the use of two paint colours David achieve a remarkable result, increasing the size of the apartment, integrating the balcony and neutralising its colour. But the difference in the kitchen was astounding. He changed the wall and colour of the kitchen cupboards which highlighted the black marble bench tops, and most surprisingly the previously awful green tiles looked as if they had been specially chosen. Now with its timber floor, beautiful kitchen and warm colours, the apartment has a very contemporary feel. Pure magic. David is fantastic to work with, highly creative, adventurous, with a amazing eye for colour who achieves stunning results.
